Schedule

Once you have purchased your voucher, schedule your flight date on a chosen day by phone or online.

Call Flight Status Line

Prior to your flight, you will need to call the Flight Status Line. When you call the Flight Status Line you will receive confirmation of the flight meeting time and location.

For evening flights, please call our Flight Status Line after 2:15pm that day.
For morning flights, please call our Flight Status Line after 11:00pm the night before.
*please note if you are flying a sunset flight in October, call the Flight Status Line after 1:15pm due to the shorter length of days.

Weather

Ballooning is a weather dependent sport and we must only fly when the conditions are safe. We require light winds, good visibility, no rain and no storms in the area. If the weather is not safe, the pilot will cancel the flight and you simply reschedule for another date that suits you.

Safety

Our Transport Canada licensed pilots are talented and experienced, carefully attending to passenger enjoyment and safety. Flight crews are up-to-date with the latest training and equipment, and our company has an outstanding safety record.

Passenger Dress Code

For your comfort and enjoyment we recommend you wear casual, comfortable clothing. Solid, flat footwear is essential (no high heels or sandals please). It's no colder in the air than on the ground but you will be outdoors for 3-4 hours, so dress for the temperature of the day. Bringing a light sweater or jacket might make you more comfortable if it is cool first thing in the morning or after we land in the evening.

Do:

Layers: So you can add or remove sweaters or jackets as you see fit.
Long pants and sleeves: To protect you against the dreaded mosquitoes.
Boots or sneakers: Hiking or rubber boots to travel on wet grass.
Bring a hat: If you're sensitive to the heat, please bring a hat.

Don’t:

Heels or sandals: Avoid them to keep your ankles safe during a bumpy landing or on uneven and muddy terrain.
Uncomfortable clothes: To climb in and out of the basket comfortably.

Passenger Restrictions

In order to fly, passengers must be in good physical condition due to the possibility of a rough landing. All passengers must be able to climb in and out of the basket, stand for the entire flight and walk out of a field if necessary. Due to insurance restrictions, we cannot fly any passenger who has recently had:

- Hip, Back, or Knee Problems
- Health Concerns
- Physical Limitations
- Severe Auditory Restrictions
- Is/Or May be Pregnant
- Under the age of 8 and with a minimum height of 48" (122cm)

Your safety is our main concern. If you are concerned with health or safety issues, please consult with your physician or call our office to discuss the individual situation.

*** Please Note: Children must be a minimum of 8 years of age, with a minimum height of 48" (122cm) to fly, and be accompanied by an adult.

Paperwork

Each passenger will be required to complete a Passenger Liability Waiver. Please bring it with you to your flight as the pilot will be collecting them. You can find both of these documents listed on each location’s page.
